Cyber Assault in the Grand Canyon
Published on Sep 10, 2014
Back in December 2013, my dad sent me some pictures of the Grand Canyon. I had just completed a 3D animation promo for the 80’s Hair Metal band “Rok Hollywood” and was still itching to produce another 3D animation before I started back to college for the spring semester.
This movie mini takes place in the zenith of the Grand Canyon. A camera crew is setting up to shoot a precursor for the release of the 2015 Ford Mustang® coral. The remote camera boom is anchored all by itself with a one-seated cameraman named Bruce. The staff includes 3 engineers, and a time marker grip named Sally. The director, which is I, Brayton Scott, and 26 crew-members are 200 yards away, under a tent viewing what Bruce is shooting thru the camera. Right of camera is a moderate size coral of real live mustang horses that are trained to run in front of the camera on queue. The mustangs were trained and prepped by Ronda George and her staff from RsG Mustang Media Group.
What was supposed to be a normal day of filming turned into an extreme close encounter.
